In 2015, the Friends of Murphysboro reached out to our club for volunteers to staff the entrance of their annual Big Muddy Brew Fest, and assist in the building of a Splash Pad at Longfellow Park. Since then The Friends have been sharing a percentage of the proceeds from the festival with the Kiwanis Club, which we in turn return to The Friends to go towards the Splash Pad. Here Kiwanis Club of Murphysboro President Cynthia Mill presents a check to Friends of Murphysboro President Brad Fager for the year 2017.
